Act as Ferret supports Conditional search?
Hi all,
Im a newbie to ferret.I have installed the act_as_ferret gem and i
actually want to search for some content in the model, but per user.
My model has data,user_id.So within the data column i have to serach for a
word if it exists for a given user.
So can i achieve that ? presently i know that it just searches the "data"
column irrespective of the user given.
Can someone help me with this?
Thanks

Automatic mapping shares on logon time
...have a method to do this ?
I explain, instead of the user go to "File Browser" and navigate and map
the share folders on the fileserver, we try to automatic map this folders
on logon time.
regards.
PD: We thinking in a complex method where the user guest the built-in
samba4 ldap (ldap serach) for your groups and according the groups that
their have mapping the file sharing with gvfs-mount, because we implemented
the pair same group-namex-share-namex.

Rsync hangs with XP machine used as sshd server

almost randomly while transfering files after transfering a few
megabytes, not always on the same file. When the remote machine is a
Linux server I have no problems, bad news is I need also to rsync from
XP... I found the problem mentioned somewhere else doing a google
serach, see for instance:

Which seems to be exactly the same issue, see the link for more info
about the situation. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a solution so
far on the web. I was hoping that somebody here knows a way around this

How to fill in a region with different patterns?
...The pattern is something like a rectangular region with certain colored
lines in it. For instance, pattern A may be a white rectangular region
filled in by two thick black lines;
pattern B may be a white rectagular region filled in by 10 thick black lines,...
Is this available in matlab? I have serached "polygnon" in matlab user guide and found a
"fill function" may work, however, there is still a long way to finally complete it.
Many thanks again!

package "growth" ... where is it ?
...ttp://hosho.ees.hokudai.ac.jp/%7Ekubo/Rdoc/doc/html/packages.html>
http://hosho.ees.hokudai.ac.jp/~kubo/Rdoc/library/growth/html/00Index.html

But the command install.packages("growth") as well as help.serach("growth")
cannot find it,.
Presumably it is not found in the official R repository.
Does anyone know where to download it from ?
Thank you very much.

Indexing paralelism

2 - If a IMAP query is received, the dovecot checks the last UID from
FTS and launch a request of indexing to finish the index *before*
running the search query . THis creates timeouts (and can take a while
if many request are pending - see point 1) How to prevent that (i.e. the
serach request is launched (read only) no matter what ? THe completeion
of missing UIDs is launched in a separate thread ?

implemented in R? Unfortunately, I did not find any serach entries.
Thank you for your help and support

Use of XEN_GUEST_HANDLE
...t_handle_name'' to be a pointer to a data type ''name '' .
What is the reason for such abstraction?
And how this XEN_GUEST_HANDLE different from ''guest_xc'' field of ''struct
xc_dom_image'', which gets initialized with xc_handle.
I have serached the net extensively for answers, but unable to get any. So
any info or pointers would be highly appriciated.
Thanks

Ok, as mentioned above it's obviously possible to check by seraching for
"CN=ypServ30" with "ldbsearch -H /var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb".
