STL decomposition of time series with multiple seasonalities
...tting the frequency to be the first seasonal component using the following code: ser = ts(data, freq=48) dec_1 = stl(ser, s.window="per") Then, I decomposed the irregular component of the decomposed series (dec_1) by setting the frequency to be the second seasonal component, such that: ser2 = ts(dec_1$time.series[,3], freq=336) dec_2 = stl(ser2, s.window="per") I'm not very confident with this approach. And I would like to know if there are any other ways to decompose a series that has multiple seasonalities. Also,I have noticed that the tbats() function in the R foreca...

Call forward & SER as SIP router
...up the phone. So every time the phone rings but It is not possible to talk. At this point, I must confess I am lost. First, I don't know if this loop is possible (pstn call-> SER -> asterisk -> SER -> pstn), I tried it with two SER machines (pstn call-> SER1 -> asterisk -> SER2 -> pstn) getting the same result, CSeq comes from SER1. If it is possible, I don't know the issues with this configuration. The forwarding works fine internally, I mean, extension 22 calling 25 which is forwarded to my mobile phone. Problem comes when It is a pstn number calling 25. The conn...

problems with asterisk and the IAX protocol
Hello group, I wanted to try out the asterisk iax protocol between two asterisk machines but have several problems with it. My scenario looks like follows. I am using asterisk 0.9.0 on both machines. SER1 <-> asterisk1 <-> IAX <-> asterisk2 <-> SER2 Both SER and asterisk run on a machine with a public IP address. When the telephone on one side makes a call the telephone on the other side rings. But whenever I pick up the call, asterisk2 hangs up without much warning and then the telephone rings unexpectedly again and again. Here is the outpu...
