OpenVPN forwarding?
I am looking at terminating a OpenVPN tunnel on my shorewall box, but selectivly forward incoming traffic from the VPN tunnel to various hosts on my LOC-zone. Is this doable? Or need I set up OpenVPN tunnels that terminates on the LOC-hosts in question directly? (Or rather: Which page on the web site have I neglected to read _this_ time?) Happy new year to one and all! .

Application Blocking
On my windows machine I use a software fire will called ZoneAlarm. One feature I like Is the ability to block applications from using the net. I''ve looked with Shorewall and wonder if it does, or was ever meant to. Not a complaint, a curiosity. Kev -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Mapping other Inbox method (symlink vs ACL)
Dear Steffen, Thanks for your feedback. Appreciate it. By permission I mean (read, write, look-up seen). I dont think symlink will allow these features. ACL does support such features. Only problem is that I have to setacl for individual boxes (ie Inbox,Sent,Junk etc.) On Wed, May 6, 2015 at 1:15 PM, Steffen Kaiser <skdovecot at smail.inf.fh-brs.de> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED

Problem with large tar file.
...717,880,320. When I issue the command tar -xvf Backup.tar I get only about 111MB of data restored. Basically /root and a couple other odd things of little consequence. I did have a second backup made with cp -pR <stuff> <dest> so I've still got my all my stuff from which I can selectivly restore as needed but I'm wondering why tar didn't work? (While being very glad I made two backups.) Is there a max size limit to a tar file? A bug in tar? Curiosity plagues me. Thanks for any help.

Use both SQL and LDAP
Hey guys, I am just wondering if it is possible to use both SQL and LDAP queries at the same time to get information. Example on why I want to do this: I work at a school where we have the need for 2 separate types of mailbox configuration (better wording is eluding me at the moment). Staff and Students currently share the same email server. I would like to be able to give staff a bigger

PRI messages while running
I have an Asterisk system running on T1 PRI trunks using a TE405P. It seems to be running ok, but one thing puzzles me. Every so often I get a raft of messages like this: -- B-channel 0/1 successfully restarted on span 1 -- B-channel 0/2 successfully restarted on span 1 ....... -- B-channel 0/22 successfully restarted on span 1 -- B-channel 0/23 successfully restarted on span 1 I could
