Euro LLVM videos finally online - proposal to use torrents for sharing
It's no magic, to get good download speed with torrents you need many seeders or few seeders with high bandwidth. I'm not sure LLVM videos will attract enough interest for many seeders to be online... The easy solution would be to have a LLVM channel with all videos on Youtube which has high qualty CDN. 2015-09-08 11:20 GMT+03:00 Adam Husár <llvm-dev at lists.llvm....

Anyone Having Any Luck Downloaing the DVD ISO?
I've been trying for 2 weeks to download the dvd iso torrent... Shows a ton of seeders, few leechers, but very poor performance.. (I'm correctly setup for torrents and get fast downloads normally) Only like 4% downloaded and crawling. I've tried the trackers from every one of the mirror sites. I can't use the net install because the systems I am installing are on a closed...

Encoding QT to Theora
Hi, We're currently editing a video advertizing Firefox and plan to release it exclusively encoded with Theora during a couple of days (before it hits YouTube, DailyMotion...). Editing is done with Final Cut Pro so sources are QT files. What is your experience of encoding QT to Theora? For the time being we are not down to testing xiphQT so we're looking for general advice. Thank you

[Flac-users] flac -t script / test vs. verify
First, many thanks to Kerry Hoath (and some to a friend who is not on this list, but mostly to Kerry) for help with my batch file question. It's working, pretty much, but I'm still tweaking it, and I'll share the results when it's polished to my satisfaction. Related question: according to the longer help file, if you use the "verify" option during encoding, flac checks

samba Digest, Vol 147, Issue 19
Hello, thanks for replying. I installed and configured samba 4.1.7 and ntp 4.2.6 according to https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Time_Synchronisation. I don't need further time updates. I need to change the date to DC samba4 the first days of every months by the last day of the previous month and my clients automatically update their time. I am aware of problems this can trigger but in this

Trying to Seed Maybe Bug?
Hi, trying to get rubytorrent to act as a seeder. I''m instantiation the RubyTorrent::Bittorrent with a pre-created MetaInfo object... bt = RubyTorrent::BitTorrent.new(dtorrent.metainfo) bt.on_event(self, :tracker_connected) { |s, url| puts "[tracker] connected to tracker #{url}" } I will attack the test file (just some random strings in a file) and the torrent that was

rake db:redo & rake migrations:reset - or how to cope with the change of db:reset
As many of you know, rake db:reset changed behavior just before Rails 2.0 got released. db:reset used to drop the database, re create it and migrate it up. The core team after integrating this feature, realized that it was not used as intended and instead db:create now uses the schema.rb file instead of the migrations. Check the many discussions we had about this topic, you will quickly notice

XCP Downloading and Xen.org
Xen Community: As you are aware, the Xen Cloud Platform has been available for download since last November and is becoming a very successful release for Xen.org. In fact, we are seeing substantial network traffic for this solution as we had 26 TB of data from XCP downloads in the past 4 weeks. Of course, this amount of traffic is forcing a re-examination of our co-location agreements as we are

Some types of GPOs doesn't work when applied to a specific OU
Hi Guys! I've been testing Zentyal for some time and I find an odd situation. There are some kind of gpo settings that are not applied when the GPO is linked into an OU. Example: setting a wallpaper with "administrative templates" or creating a folder via gpo. Other types works everywhere. Example: Computer Configuration - > Preferences -> Windows Settings -> Shortcuts
