extlinux reports "./extlinux: path /media/disk doesn't match device /dev/sda4"
Hello list, in a previous post I mentioned I had managed to make USB-Stick with 2048 byte sectors bootable. In fact I wiped out my Linux partitions bootrecord. This was with an old version of extlinux as still distributed by openSuSE. Interestingly enough the current version syslinux-3.61-pre2, spares my hard disk, but still seems to live under the impression it is the USB stick. The setup is

mkfs.btrfs - error checking /dev/sda5 mount status
Hi, I''m hitting this issue - sda5 is a normal device, nothing to do with loop, encryption etc. # mkfs.btrfs /dev/sda5 WARNING! - Btrfs v0.19-35-g1b444cd-dirty IS EXPERIMENTAL WARNING! - see http://btrfs.wiki.kernel.org before using error checking /dev/sda5 mount status Is there something I can do to resolve this? Re: Problems with user namespaces
It seems to be working now, what I needed was libvirt built with libcap support and also securityfs patch. Thanks! cd drive not found
By reading messages on this list, I think that I have figured out that in gnome, you should be able to find directories like media/floppy jerry@linux-8ldg:/media> dir total 0 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 48 2006-08-18 20:18 floppy Since the only sub directory I have in the media directory is floppy, does this mean that I have not configured the computer correctly? I cannot get to the cd drive

ISO as CDROM
I have a laptop that has no CDROM, so I have to use an ISO. Anyway, I use to be able to mount the ISO at /media/cdrom and wine would recognize it as a cdrom. Now, when I try the same thing it doesn't recognize it as a cdrom. I have added /media/cdrom as a cdrom in winecfg, but still no luck. Can someone help me out, because this is the only thing preventing me from using my program (damn DRM).
