Barplot: Vertical bars with long labels
Dear List,
I need a barplot with vertical bars. Each bar should have a label.
The problem is, that the labels are too long, so they overlap, or
only every seccond label is displayed in the output.
Here is a little syntax:
dd <- c(100,110,90,105,95)
barplot(dd,names.arg=c('Conduct Disorders','Attention Deficit',
'Eating Disorders',

Interaction plots (six on one page)
#Dear R users,
#I want six interaction plots to be on one page,
#but the following problem occurs: the legend "BMIakt" appears,
#but it is exactly on the border of the plots (too far right).
#My seccond question is, how I can reduce the empty space in the y-direction
#between the plots.
#Please have a look at my syntax below.
#Many thanks!

can't locate samba server in windows network/ can't add domain
List,
I've installed an samba server as PDC next to another samba server. The
DHCP/DNS is handled by a router (vigor 2110).
For the first domain (DOMAIN1) I can join computers or leave the domain.
However- I can't join the other domain- because no DNS entry exists.
The strange thing is they both broadcast their NETBIOS name (It's
present in the ARP table of the router) but on a

Pagode
Hi all,
This is my first message to this list. So let me introduce myself and my
problem.
My name is Anahuac and I'm from Brazil, so please be patient with my
poor english.
I'm working inthe last few months in a Web Based configuration tool to
Samba. I called it Pagode.
In Brazil Pagode is a kind of variation of the Samba music, so it's
sound nice to me.
Pagode has

Shares are comming and going
...t; it <- instead of nogroup!
How is it posible that 'smb.conf.nogroup' was loaded in the first place?
But the strange thing is I can go to explorer at typ \\servername\it, and
then I see all my files!
If I'm in explorer hitting F5, then the shares are dissapearing, If I wait a
few secconds (5-10sec) and hit F5 again, then they are back, If I press
F5 again directly they are dissapearing again.
I'm Using Debian 2.1 (2.0.36 kernel, and samba version 1.9.18p10)
Any clues here?
Best Regards,

Samba network shares over VPN
Hi there,
I have two computers, one Windows XP other Windows 7 (actually a dozen
each) which are members of a Samba domain. Users have no problem login
in to the domain, running the login script to map network drives and
accesssing files on them, for both computers.
I want to give users remote access using a VPN (OpenVPN to be exact).
The idea is to login on a disconnected computer using a

winbind joining NT4-style domain - two strange issues
A new Debian(unstable) machine with Samba 4.5.2 is trying to join an
NT4-style Samba domain hosted on a Debian(wheezy) Server with 3.6.6
which can't be changed but has been working for some years now with a
couple of windows clients.
Joining the domain was quite easy (only surprise was "client ipc
signing"), and "wbinfo -u" gives me a list with all domain users.

Routing packets over multiple links (NICS) all on the same ISP all with same gateway.
Ok ive been trying to get this to work for about half a year now. Ive
searched all over the internet for a solution for
my problem. Ive found some solutions, but they only led me to yet more
problems.
What we want to do is the following:
I live in a student complex with 7 other people. Every room has its own
internet connection from the same ISP.
Ip, gateway, subnet are asigned through dhcp on
