Searchable Archives of this list
Is there a searchable archive of this list? Did I overlook something
obvious? I can find the archives, but short of downloading all the
monthly gzips and building my own searchable database, it seems my
only other option is to go month by month looking at subjects and
hope to stumble on what I'm after.

pointer to Searchable Archives for the list pls
Hi Folks,
Can you point me in the direction of searchable archives for the list? I'm
obviously missing something. I would like to be able to search the archives
before asking my question.
Thanks in advance

Search result inconsistencies due to indexing
I seem to be having problems with getting my searcher to be consistent
while indexing. I am running the latest version of ferret (0.10.13) and
I am using the Searchable plugin. Currently the way it indexes is by
using a callback in the model of either after_update or after_create to
index the fields that I have setup to be indexed.
Right now I update the index about once every 4 or 5 minutes. The
problem occurs when I do a search and either no results ( or...

Searchable Archives?
...uys,
I am new to Asterisk. It looks great, but I have a couple of open
questions such as
- What softphones are recommended and provide Call Center level
functionality?
- What hardware (especially E1 (Euro S2M) class) are supported?
I would like to search the list archives, but can't find a searchable
archive.
Can someone please point me into the right direction?
Thanks.
Regards,
Oliver Breidenbach.

Mailing list archives searchable ?
Hi,
I've been on the list for slightly under a month now and noticed;
a) a fairly high amount of traffic,
b) a lot of questions which come up more than once,
c) the archives at lists.digium.com are not searchable.
I have started development to import the mailinglist archives into a MySQL
database and creating a full text search possibility on this. My questions;
1) Is this already done somewhere else ?
2) Is this of interest ?
I'm developing myself now, mainly because I couldn't find a component...

Searchable List Archives?
...message in the
thread (by Message-ID and same/similar subject)? Based on searches by
regexp in each message field, including Body.
Maybe Digium could upgrade the list SW, or let me do it for them. Or I
could set it up at my website, then import the list archive data and
parse it into my DB for a searchable mirror.
Does the SW with those features exist already, or do I have to write
it?

Searchable archives of Markdown discussion list still available?
I was interested in going back to research past discussions on the
list about possibilities for a syntax to add a class="foo" to div's
and/or span's to Markdown text, but didn't have much luck.
IIRC, the list never had a searchable web interface, but older posts
were available on a Google search. This seems not to be the case any
more. Can anyone recommend a good way to search the archives of this
list?
Thanks!

Searchable Mailing Lists & NooB Question
Quick question.
New to the project, and generally I like to sniff through the mailing
list archives. Are there no searchable archives? I've only found the
monthly archive files for download. Normally I would have searched
the for the answer to the following question:
I'm getting ready to set up a * server at home. No digium equipment.
Using FWD and maybe Vonage in the not too distant future. After that,
I...

Browsable/searchable mailing list archives
Hi,
Is there an easily browsable and searchable archive for cfe-dev?
I often find myself wanting to link to a particular email, and it’s a very time consuming process with a pipermail interface.
I’ve noticed that llvm-dev is reposted to a google group (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/llvm-dev <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/...

Searchable models
Hi,
I installed rails searchgenerator. When i run ''ruby script/generate
search Search --inspect'' to check the models that are searchable, it
returns none. I''ve about 9 models in my application. Why is none of the
models searchable?
Thanks,
Adi.

Searchable Archives?
I'm going to post a question to the group that I'm sure has been
answered before, but all the googling in the world isn't helping me. Is
there a searchable archive of this mailing list somewhere?

centos rpm package description list?
Dear All
Is there any reference link that lists the centos rpm packages by
their description? As I know, we have reference sites like
rpm.pbone.net and dag.wieers.com etc that we can search for an rpm
package by its name. But what we have if we want to find a rpm package
by its description rather than its name? Say we want to find how many
solutions do we have for Image processing or Speech

Tip: searchable Rails api docs from within RadRails!
...you install the new
rubygems 0.9.0, you can type "gem rdoc --all --ri" at the command line.
Then, open up RadRails, go to Window->Preferences->Ruby->Ri/rdoc and
change your ri path to the path to gemri (which gemri). Finally, open up
your RI Eclipse view and voila...indexed, searchable rails api docs at
your finger tips!
This feature is worth its weight in gold. Btw, using the --all flag will
generate ri for ALL installed gems, so you may want to limit that (or do
a "gem clean" beforehand to eliminate old versions)...if you have
multiple rails versions install tha...

is it possible to use R to edit an EXCEL spreadsheet so I can create a searchable EXCEL database of R packages?
...e format can be represented as:
package name
package description
space
I want to change the format so that file name and description are in
adjacent columns and the space is removed
package name package description
package name package description
Is this possible in R so I can create a searchable EXCEL database of R
packages. I imagine this would be easily carried out using PERL though was
interested to know R's capacity to work on textual data?
Any assistance regarding this is appreciated,

searchable or acts_as_ferret or neither?
...as 4 columns indexed, using the StandardAnalyzer (only
because using the Stemming Analyzer appeared to make the issues
significantly worse).
I''m using ferret (0.10.11) and the 10/12 trunk dump of aaf.
So I''m wondering if I might find better performance and/or less issues
with searchable, or if ultimately I just need to (RTFM and) write the
code myself.
Any (constructive) suggestions are appreciated.

Searchable Asterisk-users archive available
For those newbies who seem to not know google exists, I've setup a
searchable forum located at http://asterisk.keystreams.com/ . Yes some
of the threads are doubled up, but that sort of conversion is not
perfect so just use the search feature. It currently has 2002,2003,
2004, and Jan/Feb of 2005. It will *not* be updated in real time (at
least not for now)

MGCP to Inter Tel system
I've been trying to figure out if it's possible to connect
Asterisk to a parent Inter Tel Axxess system through the
MGCP protocol. The archives for this list aren't searchable
and I'm wondering if anyone has a simple answer...
