can't auth against more then 1 domain
...ce for a few years now. I have installed a centos6+samba 3.6.9. I
followed the how-to I did with the first one, copied over the krb5.conf
and smb.conf from the working server and all seemed to go well. It is a
member server of a window AD. We have 2 DC's that are part of the same
forest: SEAS and SEAS-S. I joined the new one like the old one to the
SEAS domain. The problem I have run into is the new server will only
auth users in the domain it is joined to (SEAS) and cannot get get users
from SEAS-S. If I check for trusted domains net rpc trustdom SEAS-S

Seeking Assistance: Plotting Sea Current Vectors in R
...Rcommunity,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek your assistance with
a data visualization problem I am facing while working with R.
Problem Description:
I have a dataframe named "df" containing the following columns:
"longitude", "latitude", "sea_currents_mag", and "sea_currents_direction".
The dataframe includes sea current estimations, with information about
magnitude (m/s) and direction (degrees) at various longitude and latitude
coordinates. The study domain covers the Eastern Mediterranean Sea (23E to
36W) and extends fr...

I have data like

I'd like to read this in as three variables. I first tried
temp <-read.csv(addresses, sep = "," ) it worked but line 2 was broken after
King's Home, and by the Sea as placed in another line. and so i eneded up
with more number of rows than in the data. when i tried

misfeature: forced file.copy() of a file over itself truncates the file ...
Try this:
fn <- "tmp.dat"
x <- 1:3
dump("x",file=fn)
file.info(fn) ## 9 bytes
file.copy(paste("./",fn,sep=""),fn,overwrite=TRUE)
file.info(fn) ## 0 bytes (!!)
Normally file.copy() checks and disallows overwriting a file with
itself, but it only checks whether character string 'from' is the same
as character string 'to'

use ts objects within the "seas" package for seasonal stats ; to compare years with each other for change detection
Hi all,
Does anyone know how ts objects ts(base) can be used within the 'seas'
package? I would like to obtain seasonal statistics of regular
time-series and for example look at the result of the plot.seas.var()
function or use the change function() to look at change between periods
or time-series.
The nottem time-series are similar to the time-series we are analyzi...

Successfully Installed Sea Dogs v1 Game - Need Help with DDRAW error.
Hello All
I have just started dabbling into the world of WINE. I was quite excited to
have one of my favourite games installed (Sea Dogs).
Before I tell you about the problem, let me tell you my setup.
I am using Gentoo Linux on x86 and my wine version is 0.9.8. I installed WINE
using "emerge wine"
I have XOrg v7 installed.
My NVIDIA driver version is 8762.
Direct Rendering is YES.

Hola Jorge
Perdona que sea tan pesado, pero no encuentro el fichero docx. Tampoco me
manejo muy bien con RStudio.
He insertado lo que me has dicho; pero solo tengo en la pantalla la opción
“Knit HTML” y siempre me genera un HTML.
He instalado “pander” pero no obtengo el docx

Blank certain areas of a contour plot
...over
land, over a regular lat/lon grid using akima's interp().
Then, I plot and locate geographycally the resulting field with a
filled.contour() and a call to map(). Everything is fine but I need to
"blank" (in Golden Surfer nomenclature) the areas of my domain that lay
over the sea, as I do not have observations there and structures are
completely artificial.
Is there any function out there that can use the mapsdata database to
"blank" the sea areas of my plot?
Otherwise, can anybody think of a shortcut to get a similar effect on
the final map (not showing the i...
