Status of R/W UFS
...still an impossibility?
From everything I've found, it seems to be something that is not
possible at the moment. I was just wondering if that has changed or if
there are plans to change that?
Here is the issue I'm experiencing:

Interestingly enough the current version
syslinux-3.61-pre2, spares my

If, for instance, /dev/sdb1 is in fact mounted to

point no user acknowledgment is required, but BR

TODO: run a few tests with hpa's extlinux to verify.

[PATCH] builder: templates: For RHEL, CentOS >= 7 and all Fedora, default to GPT.
I didn't test this one fully yet, but I'm building Fedora 26 ppc64/le
test images now. However it seems like it could be a good idea. I
wonder if anyone depends on the images we supply being MBR-based?

resize lvm
I have a laptop that I put centos 7 on and I started out with a 30gig partition.? I resized the other part of the disk to allow more space for centos.? I then created an unformated partition in the available space,? ran
pvcreate /dev/sda4
vgextend lvname /dev/sda4
lvextend -L 184.46G /dev/lvname/root
but when I run:
sudo resize2fs /dev/lvname/root
I get:
resize2fs: Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open /dev/lvname/root

How do I resize the volume?

How often is this the case ?
???

I think in most cases people try to make _some_other_
disk bootable. If I boot with extlinux as the
bootloader
why should I want to install it again ? Apart from
that it would then require -u not -i.

libguestfs just uses the Linux kernel's ufs driver. If the Linux
kernel gets fixed, we get the ability automatically.

EXTLINUX: Reading the extlinux.conf but can't find Kernel
...at on the
boot process. What I'm trying to achieve is to boot from an external USB
HDD (not flash drive) using EXTLINUX.
I've run an installation against the disk using a VM. The disk was
partitioned as follows:
/dev/sda1 = /boot (bootable)
/dev/sda2 =/swap
/dev/sda3=/ (i.e. root)
/dev/sda4=/dos
sda1 and 3 are formatted as EXT3 .. sda4 is FAT32.
As far as I can see, I've followed the instructions correctly and
initialised extlinux against the /boot/extlinux directory I've created.
MBR has been copied to /dev/sda
extlinux.conf has been created and I know that it's being...
