Externalize journal
Hello Is it possible to externalize the journal of an already existing (journal inside) ext3 FS ? Here's what I did to create a new FS with external journal for /dev/emcpowerl2 on /dev/emcpowerl2 mke2fs -O journal_dev /dev/sda10 mke2fs -J device=/dev/sda10 /dev/emcpowerl2 it works perfectly , but can I do the same whitout reformating the original FS; /dev/emcpowerl1 which is in production for exemple thanks.

LVM & volume groups
...anybody tell me if it makes a difference if domU''s have separate LVM volume groups? Specs: Oracle 9.2.0.4 OS is Redhat AS2.1 ocfs-2.4.9-e-summit-1.0.12-1 ocfs-tools-1.0.10-1 ocfs-support-1.0.10-1 ocfs-2.4.9-e-enterprise-1.0.12-1 Shared Storage: Dell/EMC CX600 naviagentcli-6.19.0.4.14-1.noarch.rpm PowerPath 4.4 My system was originally installed by Dell. I want to install Myst IV (http://mystrevelation.fr.ubi.com/). I can't install in c:/... not enough of place. I have /home/isaric/Vid?os/Myst-IV on /dev/sda10 and i want to install game on. ...ay in hell do i run oos. this lt came with oos 7 already installed. after i tricked the oos 7 partition a few times to reduce size, i repartitioned drive with oos down to sda1= 1.6 GB system, sda2= 43.0 GB oos 7, sda4= 8.4 GB recovery, sda3= extended sda5= 1.1 GB boot, sda6= 3.1 GB swap, sda7 thru sda10= 11 GB linux os, sda11= 84 GB home, sda12= 66 GB open use. only reason i left oos 7 is that if i ever, God forbid, am forced to lower my self, it is installed. only times i have booted oos was during repartitioning to see if it had problems with sda3. it did not, i have not booted oos again. i did...
