I've built some CentOS 5.5 64-bit systems straight off the DVD, full installs, and the Gnome screen lock (manually invoked or automatically via the gnome-screensaver) does not allow the user to unlock the screen. Hi I installed samba 2.2.0 as PDC on a Pc running Debian 2.2rev2, kernel 2.4.3. One of the winnt user reports this error: sometimes it happens to him to leave his PC and after a while the screensaver starts running. when he comes back to work on the PC he is not anymore able to use Pc resources, he had to reset and restart the computer. Strange thing just began happening this past weekend with my Centos-7 netbook (using the MATE desktop, which may mean it's an EPEL problem...). the lock screen checkbox in the screensaver's UI is NOT checked. I've even used the dconf editor to uncheck ALL the boxes in the screensaver section that relate to locking the screen. nada. no such luck. even after rebooting, it still locks the screen.
