tftpd server
Hi
In the pxelinux page, is referred that the tftpd server from
http://tftpd32.jounin.net as working with pxelinux.
However, from the tests I've made, it seems that the 'tsize' option is not
supported.
Anyone has knowledge of a working TFTPD server that runs on Windows NT4?
p.s. it can be shareware, I just want to test it with NT4, I have had
success with the 'builtin'

screensavers in general
Hi,
I tried some windows screensavers with Wine.
Most screensavers start with the configuration screen without a possibility to start the main
screensaver part.
It's the same thing when I rename a screensaver file from 'somewhat.scr' to 'somewhat.exe' and
try to run it with a doubleclick on my Windows 2000...

using object.find() in a loop not returning an array
I''m running a loop (illustrated below) that retrieves records from a
table based on an id that might be different with each iteration. The
loop uses the array scrns (composed of IDs) to find the related records
in the Screens table. I''m attempting to store the returned results in
an instance variable so I can use that data in a view. However, this
code simply is overwriting the instance variable with each iteration.
Why? I want to end up with an...

Different labels for subsets of points in a PCA or RDA biplot
I've tried a few things both with prcomp(), and rda() and its friends
in vegan (including biplot.rda and ordiplot), but can't find a
solution. I'd like to associate subsets of the points in a resulting
biplot ("sites" in the rda object) with different plotting colors/text
styles to emphasize certain sets of points. I can't figure out how to
keep the arrows (for

[Bridge] IPS HLBR 1.0 released (off-topic)
...is invisible to attackers. Traffic filtering
(including the packets contents) can be done with simple rules.
Version 1.0 can use regular expressions to filter the packets. Below
is an example of rule with regular expressions:
<rule>
ip dst(email)
tcp dst(25)
tcp regex(filename="[^\n]+\.scr")
message=(mailvirus-1-re) .scr attach
action=virus
</rule>
In short, all TCP traffic destined to port 25 of the e-mail server
will be filtered. If the text:
filename="anything_different_of_line_breaks.scr"
is found inside the packet, that means there are an attachment .scr...

[LLVMdev] Linux Kernel Compile for Sparc v8 Arch
...Actually that's not true. I'm the maintainer and I'm active, I just
don't have a sparc machine or time to care about sparc.

Thanks Edwin and Chris for interests!
Now, at least GCC front-end for Sparc has a problem at compilation. Chris,
is there any document describing the process of porting GCC front-end to
LLVM or would you like to explain a bit so that anyone interested in can
port GCC front-end for Sparc and Power architecture to LLVM? It will make
LLVM keep its initial status as until its version 1.6, it supported Sparc
and Power front-ends.

monitor a simulation with a special console box?
I like to monitor simulation by reporting some current values to the
console, every 25th iteration say. I think it might be nice to have
that appear in a separate window. Anyone know how?
