Realtime SIP Persistency
I've been using realtime for sip users information.
I noticed that when you are doing this, if you do a 'reload' or restart asterisk, the information in a 'sip show peers' goes away. When I do this, MWI stops working. I always though MWI used the astdb file ('database show') to determine where to send MWI but it must be using 'sip show peers' because when this

Virtual devices disappear in dladm show-link
Using OpenSolaris 2008.11 build 110.
Created vnic''s and etherstub''s and they are displayed using dladm show-links but when the server is rebooted a ''dladm show-link'' is empty although the vnic and etherstub devices are still there and function properly.
That is a real inconvenience, so why do the no longer show after a reboot or shutdown/start?

fixtures not loading when running rake test - ok other times
Hallo -- I have the most bizzare problem.
I have a test called PropertyTest that runs absolutely fine. Even if I
totally clear the test database before running it, it happily scoots
off, loads all necessary fixtures, runs & passes all tests.
My problem arises when I run rake test:units.
Then, all other tests pass fine, but this one starts failing as if the
fixture data simply hasn''t loaded (counts of 0 where 3 were expected,
etc.).
Another reason I suspect it i...

Firefox bug?
...this:
1. BlindUp one section
2. Ajax.Update to update a hidden section
3. onComplete callback does a BlindDown of hidden section
Lets say we have a moderate length page that requires a scrollbar to be
visible . When the BlindUp occurs, the content collapses and scrollbar
disappears. The content scoots out a bit because the real estate once
taken up by the scrollbar is freed up. When the BlindDown occurs, a
scrollbar has to reappear.
At this point, IE and Opera resize the client area. But on FireFox, it
just drops the scrollbar down without resizing the client area. This
results in the appear...

ZFS throttling - how does it work?
Hi zfs-discuss,
I have some questions about throttling on ZFS
1) I know that throttling is activating while one sync is waiting for another. (http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/roch?entry=the_dynamics_of_zfs)
Is it possible to throttle only selected processes (e.g. nfsd) ?
2) How can I obtain some statistics about it? I want to know how often throttling is activating on my host etc.
3) Is it

What does ZFS modify a part of filesystem block?
I have some questions about modify filesystem block.
When we want to modify existing block ZFS makes new one and destroy old. OK - it is copy-on-write
mechanism. But if we want to modify only a part of the block what does it work?
What does ZFS do with rest of the block? Whether size of it is reduce or maybe write to new place?
Best regards,
Andrzej
