application 'allway sync' evades sticky bit?!

A file created locally on the notebook and synced to the server hast the
wrong group rights:
# ls -la
insgesamt 2116

The sticky bit is set but the file belongs to the user's primary group!
A file created in Explorer is fine though...
How is this possible?
