Samba 4.2.0rc4 can't authenticate users
This problem shows up on both Linux and Solaris. I am going to show the logs from a Fedora 2.6.25-14.fc9.i686 machine. We are using 'security = domain' with a Windows 2000 domain controller. We are setting 'password server = starfish2' dispite the fact that the documentation says that this in not necessary as we have found it to be necessary. We are setting 'workgroup =

install other OS to unprivileged domain
Dear all, I have set up one unprivileged Domain-1 with help of FedoraQuickStart and some help from you. Now I want to install some other OS to Domain-2. How can I install a different OS (say Redhat 7.3) onto a unprivileged domain? Do I have to copy all files from an existed installation to an image file? Thanks, Koala _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list

Using NID_x500UniqueIdentifier as ssl_username_from_cert
Hi, please have a look at the attached patch for dovecot-1.0.3 These patch modifies ssl_proxy_get_peer_name() to use the NID_x500UniqueIdentifier as username instead of NID_commonName. The reason is, that the Common Name doesn't have to be unique for the whole mailserver. Example; in germany a lot of people got the first name "Andreas" and the last name "Schulz".

t.test in for loop
Dear list, I'd like to do several t-test within a for loop. Example follows: data1 <- rnorm(1:25) data2 <- rnorm(1:25) vars <- c("data1", "data2") for (i in vars) { t.test(i) } Unfortunately, it does not work because of the quotes in the vars-vector (running t.test(data1) by hand works). How can I remove the quotes before performing the test? Sincerely, Arne

Samba 4 AD SmartCard Authentication Problem
...ts allow login for an expired certificate despite a correctly loaded CRL. What is the purpose of specifying the CRL in smb.conf? It seems to me that the smartcard login is not really reliable. Then my users still have to log in with password. For now, as long as 4.19 is not yet released. Is there a "connect acl" ?
...and it seems that a "connect acl" is not available. I need to limit the users that can login in an IP number, is that posible with dovecot 1.0? (i.e. only these users can login from the Internet) Or a new plugin should be written? It is complicated to do that?
