Hi, I think your problem may be that you are are trying to run the standalone winbind daemon at the same time as the samba deamon, you cannot do this, the samba daemon has its own built in winbind. Could you please confirm how you provisioned samba4, post a sanitized version of your smb.conf and explain just what you are hoping to achieve. Rowland

I use samba 3.0.9 as a pdc with ldapsam. In the ldap entries, for every user there is a logon script sambaLogonScript. I only use two different scripts for 1000 users and 100 computers. Hi all, I have a problem running bind on C5.4 when the messagebus service is activated. When I switch off the dbus message service bind runs well. With dbus activated bind crashes with a segfault.
