Changing values
Hello--
I am a relatively new user to R and I cannot find the information I
need. Please help.
I have a very large data set with values including letters, numbers,
and symbols (sometimes within the same vector value [ie X9-].
I've imported the data using read.fwp and it arrives in list format.
I'd like to change the letters and symbols to numbers (ie X9- ->

installing package help with limited permissions

help(function, package='package_name') still does not work.
Is there any good way out of this dilemma, short of giving users free
permission to the entire R installation? Thanks for any suggestions.

Calculating Gwet's AC1 statistic
Hi,
After searching the archives and Google and not turning up anything, I
thought I'd ask here.
Has anyone done an R package for calculating Gwet's AC1 statistic and variance?

Problem with installing a package for R 2.5.0
Hi All,
I developed a package which did pass all the tests for R 2.4.1. When I
tried to re-compile it for R 2.5.0 it kept giving me the following message:
