Workflow + Rails
Is there any project or solution for an easy integration of a WFE / WfMS
into rails? I''m quite new to this topic, but I probably need a small
subset of workflow patterns (or whatever the correct term is) only. Any
pointers are welcome.

Any news on the rSpec books?
I admit it, when it comes to rSpec, I''m lazy. I''ve made a few feeble
attempts to use it, but for once I''m waiting for a book-length
treatment. At least two books were announced, I think. Can anyone in
the know please report on their progress?
Thanks

Multiple "has" in ActiveRecord
Please excuse a newbie question, but I couldn''t find anything by
searching the archives.
What I want to know is how to have multiple references to the same
class/table within a class. For example, let''s say I have a table called
People:
create table people (
id serial8 primary key
,name);
which just holds a list of the people in the database. Then I have

Search multiple models
Hello,
Lets say you have a few models like Post, Article, Wiki, Comment, And
you want to use ferret to search all of them at once. How would I set up
the latest acts_as_ferret to accomplish this? And what would be fastest
for searches? 1 index for all models, or have an index per model?
Thank you

One Controller, Many models
Hello all,
I am working on a app right now that is going to replace a paper form
process out client has. This process has quite a few forms (about 30)
and different groups of forms (section) need to be filled out based on
what information is required from the user. For example, here is a
possible process of 2 users:
user 1 user 2
Section 1 Section 1
Section 2 Section 2

RJS page.replace(_html) problems
For some time now I try to get my code working. This Monday I switched
to RJS (first with 1.0 + plugin) and yesterday to Edge Rails, so I guess
I''ve been using the most recent version.
I have a div with id="detail" which I want to update with a partial.
If I''m using page.replace_html the content will be replaced with text,
i.e. the javascript won''t become

no one cares about i18n (was [OT]: Asking questions on this list)
Do most others in the community agree with this statement? It seems to me
that i18n is:
1. Actually important to many people
2. Not really the difficult to implement in concept
3. Something that people like to point out about Rails to say it''s not
ready foir "Enterprise"
It seems to be that a big part of Rails is encouraging people to do things
the "Right Way",
