Failed SSL with CNAME'd puppetserver
...nnected to the puppet-old server in quite a while for
various reasons (down, hanging puppetd, network issues, ...), and I''m sure
most of them will after a reboot, but I''d like to redirect those to the
puppet-new server without having to keep the puppet-old server running.

Puppet master cannot connect to self
...ne I could solve this problem by completely throwing away $ssldir,
letting the puppetmaster recreate it from scratch, but that would mean that
I have to login to each node, remove $ssldir there as well, and sign its
new CSR.
Is there a way to solve this problem without doing that?

How to update CA cert?
What happens if the generated CA cert expires? Does puppet detect that
in time and generates and distributes a new CA cert? Or do I have to
generate and distribute one myself?
