Is there a good, foolproof dovecot-openldap tutorial that walks you through the steps and works with the newest version of both softwares? Hi Nikolay, I'd like your input on an issue I'm running into at the moment. I setup a bridge to do multicast querying for some vid. This then does not work for ports that come up later. It works only for those ports that were already up when I set the global vlan options. Debugging through the kernel I can see that the timers are simply never started. Unless I disable and re-enable

Hi there, after banging my head against a wall for a bit I got more indepth with dovecot and am now much more knowledgeable about the system than before. But I still have two problems: 1.) For some reason my dovecot doesnt log correctly. I put debug_log to -1 and expected to see logs flooding in in my syslog. When I try to log in via telnet over imap and the login succeeds it loggs correctly.
