Viable Approach to Parallel R?
...rating. Has this work been discontinued? Anyone using this? I see RScaLAPACK is still available, from reading the above it seems that was bundled with taskpR. Does it function without the other components? (Guess I'll try it and find out :) C. Sleigh & "NetworkSpaces" I see that SCAI (Scientific Computing Associates) offers a parallel R package based on something they call NetworkSpaces and "Sleigh" (inspired by Snow). Hello, I?m trying to in install the package 'glmnet' but I get always the error massage "package ?Matrix? is not available". I search on you site, but I coundn?t find the package there either. Is their still a package called "Matrix"? Or how can I use "glmnet"? Thank You in advance. Kind regards J.Hemmersbach

some issue o our glusterfs
Hello, We have a web cluster running now on virtual servers (proxmox). I installed gluster server and client on tow Hardware nodes,(one gluster server and 3 gluster client on each) which are centos5 64bit and stripe storage. I have couple of issue which by reading the forum I couldn't find the right answer. - -anytime we push files to all servers, we get rsync error on gluster

Hello Xen users, I tried to install Xen 3.1.0 on Scientific Linux (RHEL4), but this mission failed.. Hope you can help me by finding the reason for my problem. I downloaded the xen sources from http://bits.xensource.com/oss-xen/release/3.1.0/src.tgz/xen-3.1.0-src.tgz and compiled them by running "make" and "./install.sh". This seemed to work.
