updates repo for 8
I've checked a couple of mirrors and centos.org itself and I don't see updates for the 8 repos yet. Is there a new location for updates now that we're seeing the 8 repos or do I just need to wait for the repos to get a chance to synchronize fully?

Autocompletion
Hi there! I may be guilty of not doing my homework, but still, I've searched. I'm a relative newcomer to R (my forte is at present MATLAB, but for various reasons I'm trying to get literate in R). My question is: Is there an autocompletion feature buried somewhere in R? All the best Óttar [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

VMware not correctly configured for running kernel
Something happened over the weekend power-related on my VMware test server, and when I came back and restarted my VMware server box (running CentOS), I got the following message: "VMware Server is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured for the running kernel. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command: /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl." I ran that .pl script, answered

Enhancing the mouse support
I've been looking around for info on how to enhance the mouse support in a newly installed CentOS5 system and all I've managed so far is to get more confused. It seems that the "evdev" driver is a necessary tool but to compile that requires an xorg SDK which I can't even find. I've probably used up more than my fair share of Google searches for the weekend on this
