Relative frequencies in table
Hi, I'm trying to create a stacked bar plot with the satisfaction scores from a customer satisfaction survey. I have results for three stores over several weeks and want to create a weekly graph with a stacked bar for each store. I can flatten the dataframe into a table with absolute frequencies, but I can't find how to get relative frequencies. My dataset lo...

Is there any way to stop a resilver?
Is there any way to stop a resilver? We gotta stop this thing - at minimum, completion time is 300,000 hours, and maximum is in the millions. Ordinal categorical data with GLM
Hello All: I am looking for you help. I am trying to replicate the results of an example found in Alan Agresti's "Categorical Data Analysis" on pages 267-269. The example is one of a 2 x 2 cross-classification table of ordinal counts: job satisfaction and income. I am able to get Agresti's results for the independence model (G^2 = 12.03 with df = 9) assuming as he does that the data is nominal, but I'm unable to derive his model of uniform association (linear-by-linear association, p. 263-269) for which he gets a value of G^2 = 2.39 wit...

about mantelhaen.test (PR#7779)
...859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi, I have modified the code originally posted to include capability for arbitrary weightings for the rows and columns (which apply in the nominal-ordinal and the ordinal-ordinal cases). The code is pasted below (as well as an example based on job satisfaction data). However, I cannot figure out how to make the output of class "htest" make nicely-formatted output. When I use the class htest, with a list of df's, test statistics, etc, the printed output looks ugly. (See the last few commented lines at the end of the function for my aborted...

Question about Tripplite SU10KRT3U
Hello list! I can't seem to get this running via RS232 monitoring; I've been told that NUT won't support serial connections, and find this hard to verify. Does anyone else have this running on the SU10KRT3U via RS232? If so, what driver did you use? I'm getting no satisfaction from the "tripplite" driver; upon upsdrvctl start, I get "Failed to find UPS - giving up..." Invert Likert-Scale Values
...ome community survey data. Several item responses are recorded via a 7-point Likert-Scale. As I have coded the responses, 1 represents high agreement, and 7 high disagreement. This of course impacts the coefficients in a linear regression (of example agreement to self-perception measures on housing satisfaction). For some purposes, in order to make the coefficients more accessible to the reader, I would like to invert the item values, i.e. to arrive at 1 for high disagreement, and 7 for high agreement (such that the linear regression would express something like "the higher the agreement on A, the gr...
