: plot different axis, same plot position
...in plot position, but to the T value on the x-axis. I want this because the x values have no explanatory meaning (Gumbel variates), while the T values (return period) have, so I can use it to communicate what is happening in this graph. I hope somebody can help me with this. Kind regards, Saskia van Pelt

bootstrapping lambda values from projections matrices
...ata=year. boot1 <- boot(myfile, mat.fun, 5000, strata=myfile$year); boot1 Is this the correct way to do it or did I misunderstand the strata-argument? I checked in Davison, A.C. and Hinkley, D.V. (1997), but I'm still not quite sure. Thanks very much in advance for your help! transforming data prior to CCA
Hi everyone, I?m a student and relatively new to R so apologies in advance if this question seems stupid or obvious to you. I have collected a dataset with about 60 species of diatoms (count data from 19 different sample sites) and environmental variables for each site (salinity, pH, etc.). It?s all in the same dataset but distinct in R through the functions below diat <- diatom [, 1:60]

Variable not evaluating, returning nil object
There is probably a simple answer to this, but I''m fairly new to rails. Any idea why the variable "b" won''t evaluate on this line? <%=image_tag(thumbnail(items[b].catalognum, 192),:alt=>items[b].view_description,:border=>0)%> If I change it to: <%=image_tag(thumbnail(items[0].catalognum,

Dynamic Link Library
Hello, Can someone point me in the right direction? I''m trying to find a clean way of using dynamic link buttons with mouseovers and eveything. Basically, all I really want it to do is keep the Names and IDs of the images and links accounted for automatically and be able to define javascript functions, etc. Does Rails have something to assist with this? Does anyone have any suggestions?
