Also, i'm trying to check for the Bernoulli sums obey the CLT, but though i calculate 2000 values of S(n)-n*p ---------- sqrt(n*p*(1-p)) for p=.5 and n=45, this fails both KS test and shapiro test. Why?? Thanks sapsi ISI,Delhi please reply to sapsi at bigfoot.com _____________________________________________________ Chat with your friends as soon as they come online. ...o Normal, if we standardize these as i mentioned before, this will be N(0,1), I admit it wont work for 45, but it still doesnt pass the KS test for 200, and i thought this test in practise worked for discrete. I wrote the same program in Mathematica, where the Null is accepted at n=170-200. Multidimensional Integration over arbitrary sets
...f(x,y)=x*y over {x,0,1} and {y,x,1}. i.e \int_0^1 \int_x^1 xy dydx I checked adapt but it doesn't seem to help here. Are they any packages for this sort of thing? I tried RSitesearch but couldn't find the answer to this. Many thanks for you help. A question regarding Wireframe in Package Lattice
...rdinates of the quadrilateral actually used in the final plot ? I could manually calculate the 2D co-ordinates of the projection of the quad if I knew the sequnce of 3D transformations 'wireframe' performed upto the final step before plotting. A question regarding package development
...- the compilation didn't take into account the modified INCPATH. Any pointers would be much appreciated. I'm doing this on my machine only (for the moment), so rough and ready techniques (i.e no need for autoconf features) would be helpful. Thank you in advance. How to preserve data across function calls in a library package
Hi, I am writing an R package with two functions in C++. So far everything works. Now, i would like to write a third function which would use a pointer (it is a pointer to a class object) created by first function. I tried placing this pointer outside of the function definitions (i.e to make it global) but when called in the 3rd function i get > *** caught bus error *** address 0x0,
