tinydns -some help needed
Is there a tinydns or dns wizard that could give me some hints, please? I am setting up and testing tinydns, but have some problems figuring out how to route. I do get dnscache to listen on tinydns. php-ldap can't log on with browser
It has been some posting about this issue, but I cant find a solution I can't log on to my ldap server port 389 with my browser. service seems to be running. I am not running selinux, port 389 are open on both client and server. Message from browser: Access to this port is disabled for security reasons. I am setting up a news server and can't connect. I'm having problem connecting to my isp with my sangoma s518. Everything seems to run smooth and wanrouter are training to connect....but forever.. Now, to test the connection i mounted up my standard nic and my old dsl router, to establish a standard basic pppoe connection..... and I can't with centos. I follow this standard setup:

hw raid 10 with 4 disc, recomended partitiontable
I am familiar with centos and this forum, and have some rhel / centos questions. Therefore I'm asking the question here I am about to install rhel4.5 on a hp dl380 with 4 disc's. The standard rhel installation installers all in one partition? Will there be any advantage of splitting the file system up? What would be a good recommended partition table for a server running scripts

Building a basic router with two nic's
I need help setting up a basic routing between two nic's on my CentOS desktop. I thought I'd understood the basics, but ... I don,t want a nat router, just packets forwarded back and fort. LDAP authentication problems
I am working on a ldap base to authenticate user. My problem is binding to ldap with phpldapadmin or cpu. I can bind anonymously with phpldapadmin. ldapadd, ldapsearch etc. works. Users in the database can logon, so the authentication works, but I cant bind.... I need some input please, I cant find the missing link. samba log on problems
I can not log on to my samba server from centos client, this used to be ok when running 4.1. I don't now if I have messed up or what. I have change the /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources to a local repo. All the updated programs seems to appear, but there are nothing in them (158kb to download), and when downloading headers to solve dependencies it stops. Have I missed one config file? kai

CUPS for KDE
CUPS for KDE, my printer does not work properly, it don't print all pages, misses connection with usb, etc. When I installed and configured in GNOME every thing seemed to be fine.
