problem compiling openssh-2.3.0p1 with openssl-0.9.6
...tried to move
include files from /usr/local/ssl/include/openssl to
/usr/local/ssl/include but it didn't worked anyway. What seems strange to
me, in the configure.in there is additional -lcrypto option specified, but
I don't have any such library on my system. Can anyone help ?

(OT) Does pearson correlation assume bivariate normality of the data?
...tly surprised me:
"To reject the null of no correlation, an hypothsis test based on the
normal distribution. If normality is not the base assumption your
working from then p-values, significance tests and conf. intervals
dont mean much (the value of the coefficient is not reliable) " (BOB
SAMOHYL).
To me this implied that in practice Pearson's product-moment
correlation (and associated significance) is often used incorrectly .
Then I went wrestling with the literature, and with my friends on what
does the Pearson correlation actually impose, and after about a week
I'm still head-ba...

problem with openssh-2.3.0p1 and pam-0.72-20.6.x under Redhat 6.1

I have tried to upgrade pam to pam-0.72-20.6.x from redhat website, but it
didn't help. I have 'PermitEmptyPasswords no' option. Can you help me to
find out what is the problem ?
