AD DC, winbind and Domain Local type groups
...n.
This will be a problem in an environment with trusts or just following
Microsofts recommendation AGDLP ("account, global, domain local,
permission"). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AGDLP for a quick
explanation.

Bug in dhcp-dyndns.sh script, A_REC always singleton array

I was directed to discuss this issue here. As I understand the issue with using the unquoted variable is that it expand globs unless noglob is set. E.g.
root at dy3:/# test="b*"
root at dy3:/# a=($test)
root at dy3:/# echo ${a[0]}
bin
It does seem a bit hypothetical that the output of sambatool dns query ... for an A record should contain a glob, but for the sake of robustness it might still be a good idea to find a better solution.
For a single match the output looks like:
root at dy3:/# /bin/samba-tool dns query "dy3" "poizan.dk" "PoiKodi" A "--use-ke...

bug in samba-tool w.r.t. (sub)domains
Hi all
I'm trying to import our bind dns data for our domain into samba4 using
sambatool. Unfortunately, our domain has lots of (unnecessary)
subdomains, but that's hard to revert after a long time. So I will have
to parse the bind data and do a zonecreate for each subdomain that comes
out of bind. I can deal with this, but it's cumbersome :-(
The bug I'm talking about...

the UserAccountControl flag "PASSWD_CANT_CHANGE" can not be set via ldap
and there is no sambatool useer subcommand to do this...
do you think there is a solution?
