Can't join pc to domain with smbldap-tools but can with smbpasswd
...re what the "gave 9" error means or where to look it up. But the
ldap-test$ entry gets created without a sambaSAMAccount objectclass.
If I run "smbldap-adduser -w ldap-test$" (after removing the existing
ldap-test$ entry) it will create the entry but it doesn't have a
sambaSAMAcount objectclass. And it won't join the domain.
If I create a local user in /etc/passwd and then user smbpasswd -m -a it will
create the ldap entry in Computers but it has no posix objectclass. BUT it
will allow me to join the pc to the domain.

Migrating to new Samba - LDAP schema change
I'm working on upgrading a Samba server from Version 2.2.8a to Version
3.0.4. One of the things I've noticed is that the samba.schema has
changed. I'll admit that I haven't done an exhaustive search yet, but in
looking over the documentation I haven't seen any mention of anything that
needs to be done to migrate an existing directory to the new schema. Are
there any tools

I'm configuring a Samba how a PDC in my network... working with OpenLdap.
I'm using Slackware 10.2 (Default Kernel, 2.4)
Samba 3.0.21c
slapd 2.3.19.
smbdap-tools.
When i include a machine in my domain for smbldap-tools , its all right.
But when i try to include tha machine for windows (for the clients)
