However, I can set ownership and access from Windows even without the
SeDiskOperator. What am I missing?

Did you try it with the administrator account? If it is also not working have a look right here:

root, I still get this error:

According to these wiki entries
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setup_a_Samba_AD_Member_Server
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_Member_Server_Troubleshooting
there is nothing special in my setup, so I have absolutely no clue, why
this root-mapping doesn't work.
Bye.

Adding Share Windows ACL
...mber.
And yes i ve done all this settings. First i got this Error:
Enter SAMDOM\administrator's password:
Could not connect to server 127.0.0.1
The username or password was not correct.
Connection failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
But the troubleshooting guide (https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_Member_Server_Troubleshooting) helped me to fix this problem. But im notable to set ACL with the administrator account.

Winbind, cached logons and 'user persistency'...
...first question but not to the second... also because if
user are not known to the underlying system, there's no credential to
check.
'nscd' do NSS offline cache, but if i remember well all samba expert
here suggest not to use winbind and nscd togeter(
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_Member_Server_Troubleshooting
«You should also ensure that nscd is not installed, it will interfere with
winbind.»)
There's a more general approach, really offline (nssl_updatedb,
https://www.padl.com/OSS/nss_updatedb.html) but seems overkilled here.
I think that, to be effective, winbind have to be some sort of 'NSS...

Any ideas?!

net rpc rights list - could not connect to server 127.0.0.1
I had already checked these files (smb.conf, krb5.conf, hosts) and they
match each other, but the error still appears...
Is there anything else I can check?
Thanks

Hi Tom,
have a look at this:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_Member_Server_Troubleshooting
I think this could resolve your problem by using a username mapping on your member server.
