Transfer file server to new DC
...OMAIN-ad.DOMAIN.intranet (192.168.0.11).  The old DC is also the file server - I'm aware this is strongly advised against.  I want the new DC to become the file server but can't find any instructions online on how to do this - is it just simply following https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_File_Serving for the new DC and reverse the instructions for the old DC, syncing everything up and sorted? Servers are Debian 9 with 4.5.16-Debian, both are identical software-wise (but definitely not hardware-wise!) Many thanks!

Install Samba4 as File Server
Hi I intend to install Samba 4 as a file server on Debian 10 with apt-get. I understood it, I don't need to install the OS dependencies ( https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Package_Dependencies_Required_to_Build_Samba#Debian_.2F_Ubuntu), because I will use the distribution repository. This way, do I need only packages below? # apt-get install acl attr samba samba-dsdb-modules

Problems with ACLs
...y have the Unix attribute set. Groups without the Unix attribute are working OK. My two DC are Samba4 (migrated of the Windows 2008 Server) and my current File Servers are Windows 2008 Server. I followed "Setting up a Share Using Windows ACLs" tutorial ( https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_File_Serving) to configure my new Server (Samba 4). Could anybody help me? Regards, M?rcio Bacci
