Samba3beta3 + PDC + LDAP + UsrMgr.exe prob
Heya all,
So I've finally got a machine on this Samba 3 domain. Yey. Its an XP Pro
box, so I grabbed the UsrMgr.exe and SrvMgr.exe programs from Microsoft,
and hoped to at least use UsrMgr to see lists of users, maybe even as a
full User manager, since I can't find a decent one that does all the samba3
stuff.
Anyway, I'm on the domain, and I run the UsrMgr.exe program and I get an

I have posted here in the last few weeks with various questions regarding
samba 3, so I thought you'd all like to know, i've got it working.
The setup is:
Samba 3.0beta3 running on a Debian Woody box (with a few tools backported from
testing)
with an LDAP backend (OpenLDAP 2.1)

Continuing problem with domain trusts
Setup:
Samba3beta3 domain (NEWDOM) with a single PDC. No winbind activated.
Uses smbpasswd for user authentication.
Windows 2K AD (OLDDOM) domain with two DCs.
I've been struggling to get a trust established one way with these two
domains. Since I have a native W2K AD domain, I have to use AD domain tool...
