FAST_IPSEC doesn't seem to honor net.key.prefered_oldsa=0
When using the FAST_IPSEC option in the kernel build, the sysctl variable net.key.prefered_oldsa seems to make no difference. The kernel always chooses an old SA. This problem can be easily reproduced. Just wait till the soft limit of the SA is expired and do a setkey -F on the remote and then ping through the tunnel. Because the old SA's are preferred and the remote no longer has the old

I just ported my Rails app from OSX/Linux to Windows XP for the first time. I am running PostgreSQL 8.0 and the postgres-pr 4.0 adapter. Some of the queries in my Rails app work, but for others I get a weird error: ArgumentError: Invalid Ruby/cstring: select sa.name as activity_name, max(sah.created_at) as created_at from site_activity_histories sah, site_activities sa where

Are minbucket and minsplit rpart options working as expected?
Dear r-list: I am using rpart to build a tree on a dataset. First I obtain a perhaps too large tree: > arbol.bsvg.02 <- rpart(formula, data = bsvg, subset=grp.entr, control=rpart.control(cp=0.001)) > arbol.bsvg.02 n= 100000 node), split, n, loss, yval, (yprob) * denotes terminal node 1) root 100000 6657 0 (0.93343000 0.06657000) 2) meses_antiguedad_svg>=10.5 73899 3658

SAMBA - YAST
Hi, I am new with SAMBA so please be patient if the questions are silly.? I have a network with some 100 computers and 150 users. How can I add new users to the system? I know I have to add them both to Samba and Linux. The YAST GUI is no problem, it's more when I come to Samba. I think I am logged in as root in the Linux prompt and try to add users, but am not successful.? Is there

WINS + multiple subnets + multiple domains
Hello After seeking solutions and fixes to the problem I'm experiencing and not finding any, I turn here. If there is no solution, please don't be shy to pointing out that too :-) The problem: I have multiple IP-networks with windows clients in them. Some are 95, most are 98, some 2000 and xps. Most networks have at least one NT4.0 server in them, some have more, some have none. Each

openssh-2.3.0p1 for Solaris man pages
Hi Team, I'm looking to "upgrade" my sites ssh installation from the original. I have built openssh-2.3.0p1 and it looks good. I am puzzled as to why there are so many source distributions? However, that is not why am writing - the man pages provided do not format with either Solaris 'nroff -man' or 'groff -man'. What am I missing here? Thanks for your help. Scott

A few Newbie questions about RAIDZ
1. I have a 4x18GB drive setup as RAIDZ. Now when thinking about it in terms of RAID5 I would expect to get (4-1)x18 worth of drive space, but DF -h shows 4x18. Is this a bug or do I not understand? 2. Once again thinking in RAID5 terms if I have 4X18GB and 12X9GB drives and I want to make a RAIDZ of all of them I would expect the 18GB to be treated at 9GB so the RAIDZ would be 16X9GB. Is
