I've joined saffron to the domain successfully, and the record shows up in DNS. $ samba-tool dns query kaylee firefly.michael.mol.name saffron all...

State rules placement
Hi all, I have seen Shorewall places the state verification rules (-m state --state ESTABLISHED,RELATED) as the first rule in a zone2zone chain. This means that state checking is done after all the rules involving from this zone to this zone. As you could have a lot of them, wont be better to place them just after checking the state is not invalid? This will mean a lot of packages will be

NXDOMAIN dual-stacked, Samba4/Samba 3 AD setup
On my network, I'm finding that if I run host saffron on any machine on my network, I see saffron's IPv4 address, but not its IPv6 address. This is true regardless of which joined machine I run. I'd like to figure out how to fix this... For any other machine on the network, host $hostname shows both that machine's IPv4 and IPv6 add...

[PATCH] rework master-to-worker signaling to use a pipe
Signaling using normal kill(2) is preserved, but the master now prefers to signal workers using a pipe rather than kill(2). Non-graceful signals (:TERM/:KILL) are still sent using kill(2), as they ask for immediate shutdown. This change is necessary to avoid triggering the ubf (unblocking function) for rb_thread_call_without_gvl (and similar) functions extensions. Most notably, this fixes

Feature Request: Drag and Drop support in scale plugin
I've asked for this many times, but this is the first time asking for it on the mailing list. I have totally removed my window list applet from my gnome-panel. It's gone, but not yet forgotten. Despite such great effort to replace it, the thing I miss the most from it is the fact that d&d was easy. I pick up my file or my text or whatever, I hover over an item in my window list applet,
