Samba 4.10 member: SMB login no longer working
...pgrade 4.5 ? 4.8, 4.8 ?
4.9, 4.9 ? 4.10 seemed to work fine each step.
However, SMB logins either with smbclient or with Windows, Mac clients
no longer work, generating the following error message:

Wrong password, Win10 not using SMB3_11?
...0 workstation always fails with wrong password.
When trying to compare the wealth of data in the logs, the succeeding
mapping goes along the lines of

Followed by Kerberos this and that and a success.
When connecting from the failing workstation (I now suspect it's the
