Sangoma S508 Rev-B
Hi list, I've browsed through the wiki pages and finally would like to get some answers from peple who perhaps had used such card. I have the sangoma s508 card. It has no CSU/DSU. It is an ISA card with DB9 and DB25 connectors (for RS232 and V34/X21/EIA interfaces). They claim it is a frame relay and syncronous ppp card. Can I use this card with asterisk in any way but without subscription to a Frame Relay account? Perhaps in similiar manner as T...

Problem with Sangoma/Adtran 600 installation

sangoma cards in linux
Hi There, we only have a /29 internet routable network from our ISP and a Cisco 1601 router with serial interface doing all the routing. I was thinking of replacing that cisco with a linux box with a sangoma card, also using quagga with ospf on for my internel networks has anyone have expierence with this? thanks Sew

Sangoma A101 gives 'no PRI configured on span 1' error
I upgraded from Tormenta2 to Sangoma A101. I followed the instructions, and installation was successful. zttool, ztcfg, all show card is installed properly. I copied the parameters from my old working zaptel.conf, zapata.conf and zapata-auto.conf. Verified on Sangoma website that these files are correct. Also configured wanpipe1.conf. But doing all this didn't start the PRI channels. It says

Linux as T1 router
Hello All, I am thinking about using a linux server as a T1 router. I have searched the list, but have not found a discussion about what I''m trying to do. I have a situation where the Cisco router I''m using will not handle the additional bandwidth I added recently. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the Cisco unit that will.
