Hi list, I''ve got a system with 3 WD and 3 seagate drives. Today I got an email that zpool status indicated one of the seagate drives as REMOVED. I''ve tried clearing the error but the pool becomes faulted again. Taken out the offending drive and plugged into a windows box with seatools install. Unfortunately seatools finds nothing wrong with the drive. Windows seems to see

When I search around, I see that nexenta has ndmp, and solaris 10 does not, and there was at least some talk about supporting ndmp in opensolaris ... So ... Is ndmp present in solaris 11 express? My big issue is that once I zpool(1M) export the pool from my W2100z running S10 or my Ultra 40 running S11x, I can''t import it. .. evidently doesn''t work. GRUB reboots the machine moments after loading stage2, and doesn''t recognise the fstype when examining the disk loaded from an alernate source. This is with SX-151. Here''s hoping a future version (with grub2?) resolves this, as well as lets us boot from raidz. Just a note for the archives in case it helps someone else get back the afternoon
