Recovery of RAIDZ with broken label(s)

The situation now is I have dd''d the drives onto a NAS. These images are
shared via NFS to a VM running Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 X86.
When I attempt to import the pool I get:

"server string" ignored by Windows 7?

ample, "data on 'RAIDzilla II (rz2)' (Y:)", 7 shows only "data (\\rz2)
(Y:)".
Additionally, on the Windows 7 systems, the samba servers don't appear
in "Network" (the desktop icon of the same name). If I say "start \\rz1"
in a command window, I see the share on the samba server. I don't know if
this is related to the issue with the server string or not.
I have a very simple smb.conf:

Best option for my home file server?

The config options I considered are:

Using Richard''s blogs to help my evaluation I made the following
conclusions between the choices...
- Mirrors cost you 50% of your total space, but give you the best
performance and "average" fault tolerance.

failed make install on Solaris 10
...ugh, when I issue the make install, I get this error:

install: asterisk was not found anywhere!

I would prefer not to install everything manually if possible. Anyone have
any ideas how I get around this? Asterisk is clearly in the directory, but
for some reason Solaris can't pick it up.

HP make to the Samba code or do they just compile it?
I did not try the asterisk option of the password server command yet.
I just tried the security=domain instead of security=server with a
single password server.
Maybe it works but I cannot join the Samba server to the NT domain:
