Problem runnin rSymPy
Hi all,
I'm having major difficulty using the rSymPy package this week, but I have
used it without problems before now. Here is an example of what's happening:
> library(rSymPy)
Loading required package: rJava
> sympy("var('a b c d')")
Error in .jcheck() : No running detected. Maybe .jinit() would help.
And I have no idea how to fix it. I Have tried re-installing but that
doesn't seem to work either. Any help would be great, thanks!

Samba team,
I posted the following message on May 30 to comp.protocols.smb, but no one
has responded to the posting as of yet, so I thought I'd try this email
list.
We are testing winbind and security=domain to authenticate NT users on
our UNIX box in samba (v2.2.3a). Winbind is working correctly. Wbinfo

Runnin SSH on slow CPU (386 40Mhz 8Mb RAM)
Hello everybody,
I'd like to use OpenSSH (client & server, for shell & sftp) on
an embedded PC with limited resources (processor 386 SX 40Mhz
8Mb RAM). I have Linux running on it.
In the past, I tried to use OpenSSH on it just to see if it could
work but each connection required an incredible long time to start. I
suppose that the key generation is too expensive for that processor.
Is there something I can try to make it work better ? Can we change
the key length o...

Not showing up in network listing on Win 8.1
This may not be a Samba problem, but perhaps people here know the answer.
We are installing some Windows 8.1 Pro computers. The servers running Samba
4.2.19 and 4.3.0 are not showing up in the Network display. Our domain
controller is also not showing up. The Windows 7 computers are showing up.
The domain controller is a Windows 2000 machine. I can manually map network
drives to the servers runnin Samba.
I wonder if the problem is that t...

Newbe Question: Character Encoding
...erything is fine - the characters are presented
correctly. When I declare variable within the controller (e.g. via flash
or as a list of values for a listbox) the text is displayed with the
umlaute replaced by strange characters.
I assume I have to adjust the character encoding somewhere.
I am runnin Rails in the standard configuration.
On which places can this be done in Rails ?
Thanks a lot in advance

The nslcd uses ldap queries to have all the users,
groups, etc, talking directly to the ldap server. If samba4 has a ldap
like server, he has to had a way to query the service, to avoid using
winbind on eeevery client.
Well, for what you said, I must...

How to get TCP access to CDR Master.csv

thinking of trying to solve by reading line by line somehow and writing back
to the socket... not even sure if this is possible.
So basically I'm hoping someone has a nice solution for this. With or witout
scripting, external programs of some sort (runnin ubuntu 7.04 or 6.06) or
whatever works. I'd really appreciate your input here.
