Is this a DDoS to reach Asterisk?
Hi Everyone,
I have pfSense running which supplies Asterisk with DHCP. I had some testing
ports opened for a web server which I have totally closed now but when I
chose option 10 (filter log) on pfSense I get all of this type of traffic
(note that it was only 1 single IP and once I blocked that one it was like
opening a can full of bees with all different IPs):

Bug#619977: xen-utils-common: Missing /etc/udev/rules.d/xend.rules and /etc/udev/rules.d/xen-backend.rules
Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 4.0.0-1
Severity: normal
A strange issue, when deploying Xen using Puppet, /etc/udev/rules.d/xend.rules and /etc/udev/rules.d/xen-backend.rules files are empty.
Specifically, the symlinks point to ../xend.rules and ../xen-backend.rules respectively in /etc/udev, but neither of those files exist.
Manually copying those files from another host that was not deployed using Puppet works.

Here is what I want:

- default gateway to use for fast communi-
cations
+ ADSL ISP

I tried to enable EVERY network options in my

I tried tcrules, providers, masq configuration but
nothing works.
patch-o-matic tells me "missing files" and many
other errors when I try to patch both my iptables
and kernel for CONNTRACK support.
Is there someone out there who succeeded to use

who gives access? was: why ADD_DNAT_ALIASES missing?
hi,
there was some email problems and i repeat my question too fast, but
this is the second part of my questions.
- only the rules and policy files give access right? ie. rules in the
FORWARD chain of the filter table in iptables ?
- is a line in masq file automaticaly add an accept rule too? eg. in
msaq file
eth0 <internal ip>
allow connection from <internal ip> (local zona) to the net zone (eth0''s
zone)...

however with no luck
Also I want to know these duplicate entries have an effect on packets

If I'm understanding it correctly:
- the make rules for %.c32 pull in the $(C_LIBS) libutil.c32 libgpl.c32 libcom32.c32
- the subdir dependencies in com32/Makefile don't all list all three $(C_LIBS)
- the build fails when a non-library subdir (i.e. samples) wins the race against a $(C_LIB)
If that's right, wouldn't the subdir parallel...

Easy solution for custom firewall rules-
...tio'/>
<filterref filter='allow-virbr2-vpn'/>
<address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x03'
function='0x0'/>
</interface>
After this, nothing happens. I did 'ebtables --list', and the new
rules aren't there. I also did the same with iptables as well as
firewalld itself. The new rules are nowhere to be found.
What did I do incorrectly here?
Thanks!

Custom udev rules to override defaults?
I'm trying to work out how to set up a custom udev rule to override
permissions on serial ports (/dev/ttyS* and /dev/ttyUSB*) on CentOS 5.3
The default rule, in /etc/udev/rules.d/50-udev.rules has the line:
KERNEL=="tty[A-Z]*", NAME="%k", GROUP="uucp", MODE="0660"
and I would like the mode to be 0666
Various docs on web say that you shouldn't change 50-udev.rules, but
instead create a new rule file that appears le...
