Hi all, I want to install the package Rgraphviz on R2.9.0 (after installing Graphviz 2.22). I have not been successful in installing from the binary on a win XP pc. When I went to update the package, I tried to do the check/build procedures on a system with Windows XP, using the recommended R-tools available from Dr. Ripley (Rtools29). Everything works fine in the check and build process except under Windows XP the pdf manual is not generated? If you recall, when I issued the command: tar xvfz RgoogleDocs_0.2.2-src.tar.gz cmd.exe told me it could not be found I reran Rtools29.exe which is the Rtools setup program which offered to change my path. However it still did not work. I went to lunch and took the opportunity to reboot my computer. When I retried after lunch the tar command worked and everything thereafter worked.
