Error in R CMD INSTALL on Windows XP using Rtools28

>>> Building/Updating help pages for package 'xps'
...
To my knowledge I have only made one difference when installing
everything necessary to build my package:
On my laptop I have installed Rtools27.exe, while on WinXP on my Mac I
have installed Rtools28.exe.
Do you know what the reason for the error might be?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
Christian

Building R for Windows
...ble to build R in Windows, so
that's what I'm trying to do. [I've done test builds of R under Linux
before, and that seemed fairly simple.]
I've tried to follow the instructions "Building R for Windows" from here:
http://www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/
I installed Rtools27.exe and the other tools suggested here:
http://www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/Rtools.txt
I followed the instructions in first Rtools link "Obtaining the R source
code" and have a directory with the latest C:\R\R-2-6-1.
Should the "Building R for Windows" document say somet...

R CMD check problem
I have a query after finding an error running Rtools on a Windows machine.
I am trying to build an update to the R fda library using Rtools27 under
Windows XP Pro. This is the current fda library on RForge:
http://r-forge.r-project.org/projects/fda
Following R CMD build, R CMD check produces the following error in

R binary version with R_MEMORY_PROFILING
Hi all,
Where can I find an R binary version (>2.4.0 ) for windows that compiled
with R_MEMORY_PROFILING?
Within our application we are experiencing serious problems with memory
usage. And being able to use "Rprofmem" and "tracemem" command seems like
our best option.
Thanks,
Yoni
