I had rsync2.5.5 running fine ona RedHat Linux 8 system. I downloaded the rsync2.5.6 code and it compiled with no problems. However, operations which worked before are now failing. Howdey, I was trying to find out if it is possible to have RSYNC only give me the transfer stats that it normally gives at the end of a transfer when using the -v switch. BUT I do not what to have the long list of files that are accompanied with it. Is there a way to do this? Thank you. Bob.
