...I somehow use DBI to do it. Other processes on the machine use DBI/DBD to talk to the database, but I have no idea how this would work with R. The file at http://cran.r-project.org/doc/manuals/R-data.pdf makes it seem like the DBI package is only a front-end, and I would need something like "RSybase" to actually use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Peter
