Missing SSHFP RRs / VerifyHostKeyDNS & StrictHostKeyChecking
Y'all, Currently (OpenSSH_7.1p1) no distinction is made between when an SSHFP RR is missing from the result set (rather then being empty), which can lead to confusing error messages, (the "normal" warn_changed_key() blurb is emitted) e.g. when the presented host key and known hosts both match but there is no matching RR. Further, if VerifyHostKeyDNS and StrictHostKeyChecking are

Ed25519 keys in SSHFP RRs
Hello. Subramanian Moonesamy has gotten the ball rolling to include Ed25519 in IANA's registry for SSHFP key types [1]. I've opened a bug report [2] that includes a patch that adds the needed support code and provisionally assigns Ed25519 a value of 4 (values 1,2,3 reserved for RSA, DSA, and ECDA, respectively) [3]. The enhancement request/bug is meant to keep the issue on the radar.

The thing also choked on my lovely IN ISDN RRs. I fixed that by deleting them. Perhaps the set of supported RRs should be specified in the man page. Overall, looks great. --Arnt

"Provisioned, Down, Active", but D-channel seems to be fine
Hi, I'm seeing rather odd behaviour on a new box with TE110P card. I'm running the TE110P span with ccs,hdb3,crc4 in pri_net, connected to a second machine with a TE410P in pri_cpe. The span is idle. I'm using pri intense debug span 1 and can see the RRs going back and forth. So - things are running along with the span showing "Provisioned, Up, Active" in pri show span 1. Something happens and the span logs an alarm, and goes down. All the channels go down. Almost immediately, the alarm clears. I see the RRs again. But, pri show...

what is the difference between survival analysis and (...)
...I remembered of logistic models ;-) The only (and poor) argument I could think of was that if mr Cox took pains to devise his model, there should be some reason... but the story doesn't end here. When I came back to my office, I tried these two methods on a couple of data sets, and true, crude RRs are very close to those coming from Cox model. hence this question: could someone provide me with a dataset (preferably real) where there is a striking difference between estimated RRs and/or between P-values? and of course I am interested in theoretical arguments and references. sorry that this...
