No subject
...the log file for the win machine. I
decided to reinstall and once again everything worked for a day or so,
then today it stopped working.
To reiterat the problem. My whole lan works including samba. Then for
no apparent reason I get the error "The domain password you have
supplied is incorrect or the server is denying access." or something
like that.

one opinion about searching samba docs for answers
It sure is hard to find info in the documentation/mailing list for a
specific error. If an error log message was created by smbd, nmbd, or
winbind, shouldn't the documentation contain a description, cause, and
possible solution?
Specific case in point:

Hi,
I am getting this log entry in the nmb.log file.
Any ideas why I am getting it?
query_name_response: Multiple (2) responses received for a query on
subnet 9.36.
220.43 for name WHITE<1d>. This response was from IP 9.36.223.255
