rpm - spec - on remove
Hi
Is there an option in the spec that i can say on remove do X - eg move a
backup file back into place etc?
eg
%onremove mv foo bar

Portable SSH SRPMS problem / RH 6.X
1) Thank you to whoever makes these available.
2) I have a problem with the SRPMS, they will not --rebuild on a RedHat
6.2 system. Can anyone help me to get this to build here?
[root openssh]# rpm --rebuild openssh-3.0.1p1-1.src.rpm

...he src.rpm which by default install everything into
/usr/local/samba. However, my previous install differnt paths than those
specified in the Makefile.
It was suggested to me that I use the parameters for ./configure.sh from
the .spec file of
the .src.rpm of samba 2.2.0. I found "samba2.rpm3.spec" in
"/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/samba-2.2.0"
How do I run ./configure with the spec file. I ran "./configure --help"
but didn't see anything about using a spec file....
I apologize if this topic is covered in a readme somewhere. If it is, I
jst haven't foun...
