Raspberry PI 3
Hi all
I downloaded the RPI3 image:
CentOS-Userland-7-armv7hl-Minimal-1603-RaspberryPi3.img.xz
how do I resize the root FS? My Sd card is 32G and I am only using 2G of
that.
also I thought the RPI3 as was 64 bit. When I downloaded the
aarch64.img and tried that it did not boot.
I thought the RPI3 supported this image. perha...

...could be roof mounted.
Once WiFi calling became available, Sprint dropped support for the
femtocell. So I added a Trimble RES 360 Carrier Board and Rpi2 and
created a Strata I time server. In July of 2017 a lightening strike took
everything out (despite the lightening arrestor) so I migrated to RPI3
with a GPS Networking L1GPSA-N L1 Roof Antenna. I split the GPS signal
and have two RPI3s each with a Trimble RES 360 Carrier Board. Since I
already have this hardware providing approximately 1uS time accuracy
(wouldn't want to be late for dinner), I thought I might try using them

It's been around for a few months.

It is completely stable, and it has the entire base rpm and selected stuff
from EPEL.
But there isn't an ARM epel repo yet and some packag...

Raspberry Pi Version of Samba?
A few months ago, I built a samba 4 DC on a RPi 2B v1.1 with Louis'
packages.
It's just like a normal Intel cpu based installation with a couple of minor
exceptions.
I built mine on Raspbian Lite. You'll have to add an additional user and
give it sudo privileges. The network setup was like the older Debian 9 by
simply adjusting /etc/network/interfaces. To add Louis' repo

RasPi 3.x and RH-based Distro (Slightly OT)
With the release of the Rasberry Pi 3.x, I think we have a platform I could
jump on board with. Performance has just been lacking until now!
But I really don't want to jump the "RH ship" - I'd rather stick with an
environment I am comfortable in.
Can anybody comment here on the best way to run RHEL/Fedora/CentOS on a RasPi,
or if there's even a useful port?
Thanks

FWIW, this is what was posted to the Fedora's ARM list about supporting
the Pi3 in Fedora by Peter Robinson:...

Samba AD /dns /dhcp
Hi there, thanks for your reply. Probably I should add that:
a) I'm running Centos7 on the RPi3.
b) Compiled and installed samba 4.7.2 from source (packaged AD samba not
available for CentOS)
c) I haven't managed an AD before this thing landed in my lap, much less a
Samba AD :)

Weekend Puzzle: computer posing as an UPS
...can leave on all the time, or can place in a different
physical location I don't particularly want to do things on a Pi instead
of a desktop. And then I want it to be reliable.
That leads me to plug a power supply into a UPS, or to use POE (from a
POE switch which is plugged into a UPS). For RPI3, I found a POE
ejector that splits the POE ethernet cable into ethernet only and a
micro USB.

I use Rasbian on my pi's.

rasberry pi
I'm debating between a cloud PBX or, perhaps, rasberry pi. For a SOHO,
maybe three hardphones, rasberry pi would suffice? I would be amazed, but,
if so, great.
thanks,

nut on armhf, r-pi4b IOW
On my raspbian buster RPi3's that run nut, no problems with the stock nut
packages provided so I wouldn't expect problems with your RPi4 once you get
the cable and configs sorted out. I use the RPi3's as nut-servers to
monitor and manage my Tripp-Lite UPS systems, the other local systems run

nut on armhf, r-pi4b IOW
Greetings all;
Does nut build on an r-pi4b?
I have an r-pi4b running one of my cnc machines and the power bump
performance due to the size of its psu and the fairly rapid start time
of my standby generator, does not allow a full powerdown restart to take
place, leaving the pi in a crashed state.
I've purchased a factory refurbed cyberpower ups rated at 650 WA which I
intend to figure
