That is the rpi is an armv5 and the rpi2 is an armv7. I won't get into all that is going on in building standard images forarmv7 boards. Other than so far, the rpi people still do remixes. Others are working on close integration with the linux development. I have been in Centos/fedora...

rasberry pi
I'm debating between a cloud PBX or, perhaps, rasberry pi. For a SOHO, maybe three hardphones, rasberry pi would suffice? I would be amazed, but, if so, great. thanks, Thufir -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Release for CentOS userland 7(1611) on armhfp
...serland-7-armv7hl-Minimal-1611-RaspberryPi3.img.xz == What's new (specific to armhfp) As before, CentOS 7 userland for armhfp is still built from the CentOS 7 distribution, with some modified, added (or removed) packages. Here are some highlights for the 7.3.1611 release : - Kernel (for both rpi2/2 and generic boards) was bumped to 4.4.x (LTS version) to also follow the i386 AltArch kernel. - uboot images were updated to version 2016.09 - rootfs-resize (unmaintained) had issue when resizing FS bigger than 32Gb, and has been replaced by cloud-utils-growpart - default image[s] for rpi2/rpi3 n...

RasPi 3.x and RH-based Distro (Slightly OT)
With the release of the Rasberry Pi 3.x, I think we have a platform I could jump on board with. Performance has just been lacking until now! But I really don't want to jump the "RH ship" - I'd rather stick with an environment I am comfortable in. Can anybody comment here on the best way to run RHEL/Fedora/CentOS on a RasPi, or if there's even a useful port? Thanks

samba_dlz shutting down on named reload
Hello there. I´ve been having problems with dynamic dns update by dhcp on my samba ADDC running on CentOS 7 on an RPI2. After a while, the dhccp_dyndns.sh stops stops being able to authenticate with named. for the longest time I was stumped with this, exploring all kinds of kerberos issues, but found out that *restartint* named did resolve the issue. I have finally traced this problem down to a *reload* of named....

Finding lshw and flash-plugin or alternates
Dear CentOS Gurus I have been using "repoforge.org" primarily to obtain two RPMs, "lshw" and "flash-plugin". I recently realized that "repoforge.org" should not be used, as it has had no updates for a long long time. But, when I search for the RPMs within the repos: base centosplus contrib epel extras updates the lshw program is nowhere to

Raspberry Pi Version of Samba?
...mtocell location and GPS signal). I chose an active Trimble Bullet III GPS Antenna requiring a 5V supply that was compatible with the femtocell and could be roof mounted. Once WiFi calling became available, Sprint dropped support for the femtocell. So I added a Trimble RES 360 Carrier Board and Rpi2 and created a Strata I time server. In July of 2017 a lightening strike took everything out (despite the lightening arrestor) so I migrated to RPI3 with a GPS Networking L1GPSA-N L1 Roof Antenna. I split the GPS signal and have two RPI3s each with a Trimble RES 360 Carrier Board. Since I alrea...

Some questions
After years of delays and side trips, I really am going to dive in and build my own Samba server. And I have a few questions. All of my servers will be ARM. The main hardware will be Cubieboards (2 and truck). They will be running Centos-7 once the development is finished. For now I am using Fedora 22 arm. My backup file server will be a pogoplug (armv5) with Redsleeve 7.1. My current

4.2.0 Relocation error

Well, he is on a Raspi 2, which is - if I did understand this right - a different architecture. Maybe I did not understand him enough. But anyway, I would presume, that there is hardly any information out on the new Raspi 2... It's

reboot of nut managment node resets Tripplite SMX1000LCD
Hi, I'm not sure if it is a bug or a feature. I'm running Ubuntu 20.04 on my RPi4 which connects to the UPS over USB. I have noticed whenever I reboot my RPi4. It resets the UPS ( I can hear the relay) -- Powerloss. Any pointers to disable this annoying bug / feature. ups.conf: --8<---- [tripp] driver = usbhid-ups port = auto vendorid = 09ae productid = 2009 bus

Besoin d’aide pour upssched
Roger? Can your read me? The command from the command line works fine. "Perhaps an introductory book to Linux would help you." You?re right. I bought this great book "A la d?couverte du Raspberry Pi" by Matt Richardson (NUT monitoring is done on the RPI2 I recently bought). But I?m still a beginner (and an old one). 2016-06-14 15:51 GMT+02:00 Roger Price <roger at rogerprice.org>: > On Tue, 14 Jun 2016, Philippe Le Mesle wrote: > >> "essayer la commande /usr/bin/upssched-cmd upssms manuellement sans passer >> par NUT.&...
