..., I mean, there's not trust relationship at all. I can see the windows 2000 domain in the browse list but not the computers that belong to that domain. How should I set up my samba server or the windows client to fix the small problem??? Hi. We have two networks, one on Windows 2000 and another in SAMBA. I can browse the windows domain but they can't. They don't even see the domain. My smb.conf includes Domain master = Yes Preferred master = Yes Domain logons = Yes Does windows domain need to have a well working dns server? Cheers, Rafael

...w can I browse the network having three different domains, 1 samba (pdc) and 2 windows 2000 server (pdc). They are on different network segments as well. Hi all, I have a Samba PDC setup and i was wondering if anyone knows how i can force the users to change passwords ever x days. My network consists of windows type machines as was as linux based machines. Any help would greatly be apprecitated.

I have seen the log file and found NT_STATUS_WRONG_PASSWORD Check_oem_password: incorrect password length (-358407785) Any light on this???? Cheers Rafael Paris

Hello everyone. We have two domain in our company, a windows pdc and a samba pdc. Samba users have access to windows' shared resources at login script using ntlogon.py passing the windows domain username and password as parameter. Clients connect with no problem but after a period of time we loose the connection to the windows domain. Can anyone address me in the correct direction to fix this
